Barcelona from Tibidabo...

If you know Barcelona then you know this view from Tibidabo. In this photo we are looking in the direction of the Sagrada Familia which is still under construction. Can you believe it? The project was originally commissioned in 1882 and since Gaudí's death new additions have been made and the construction continues. As the sign says 'god is in no rush'. It is likely it will take another 100 years before it nears completion. Finished or not, this Sunday the Pope will be in town for Sunday Mass at the Sagrada.

  5. Nice landscape of city.
    And
it is amazing story to me that Sagrada Familia is still under construction since 1882.
Perhaps they put a lot of money into building Sagrada Familia.
