In my closet...

Yes- I have a lot of t-shirts. I make it my job to find really cool and witty t-shirts. Oh and I love my self-painted blackboard. It is very practical for learning and remembering. 

Lime frosting...

These pics are from the frosting I made some time ago; lime cream cheese mmmm. o easy to make and soooo delicious. Don't make the same mistake I did...be cautious of how much lime juice you use unless you want your frosting really runny.

 I have a friend visiting this weekend for a week so I will try to sneak in as many posts as I can in the coming days. 

Cursa de la Mercè '11

Today was the Cursa de la Mercè here in Barcelona, as part of the la Mercè festivities which kick off this week. Only 10km but a bit painful since I didn't have time to train leading up to it. Still I managed to finish in 47minutes. I was planned to run with a friend but unfortunately she sprained her ankle and had to rest. The painful part about running is the awkward moments waiting for it to kick up while you wait with strangers with nothing to say to each other. Hope you all had a great Sunday.

Turkey stuffing time!

Canadian Thanksgiving is just around the corner but here in Spain it hardly feels like autumn. In fact it's hot and humid. I kinda wish it would cool down a bit. Have a great week!

Nespresso Love

Anybody else love Nespresso as much as I do? This pic was taken at my friends house. I kinda wish I had a machine at home but I'd probably get addicted to it. Fortunately we have one at the office. That's enough for now.

Dinner Party

I love hosting dinner parties...it's so much better than cooking for one. Great food, great wine and great people. Nothing beats it!

So I guess this was about when we sort of got lost and decided to have a 'mmm look at that view' moment. Epic!

Somewhere near Figueres ...

On our little road trip we discovered this little fella. Not sure if he/she is happy or not. Cute little thing nonetheless. Look at those long whiskers. Hope you're all having a great long weekend in the North Americas. Here it's back to work as normal tomorrow morning. 

Way to Cap de Creus

This is one of the reasons why I prefer to drive rather than taking the bus, train or plane. You can stop whenever and wherever yo want and discover new places. Nothing quite like a road trip!

I've been away for three weeks and I've been slacking with these blog posts. So much is going on with my life right now so this had to take a back seat.
