| Sorry for being gone for sooo long. I've been traveling for three weeks and slowly getting back into the swing of things. I was in Cape Town and then roadtripping around Nambia and the Western Cape. So keep an eye out for more pics from my trip. This series of pics is from our stop over in Solitaire. I'm told that this is the famous bakery in Solitaire...famous probably because there is nothing else around but a gas station and a convenience store. Although my firend did continue to comment how amazing the Apple Strudel was. I'd like to think mine is better ;). Having said that...the place certainly has its charm. This is where we met two Americans from Seattle who were trying to hitch hike their way to Windhoek (the capital city). They have been living in Namibia for some months and were doing some traveling on their time off. God bless them. They had been waiting for 4 hours in the summer heat with no luck. |
