Altea

Make love (or music) not war.

This caught my attention with all the madness going on in the world, particularly in the middle east. 

It sure has something 'special'. We stayed at some sort of art hotel and as soon as we arrived there were cops dealing with some teenagers. Supposedly they had 'damaged' the art. As we entered our room it became clear what sort of 'art' it was. To me it appeared like somebody grabbed buckets of paint and splashed one colour in one direction and the other colour in another direction. I guess art IS subjective. Well I guess there is a reason why this town has its own show on television.

Weekend in Altea, Spain

The town of Altea is in the south of Spain close to Valencia, approximately 5 hours on the train from Barcelona. It's a very beautiful town made for exploring on foot.  

You can always spot a Dutch family from afar; always dressed stylishly. I love their Converse.
