Paris, je t'aime!

My opinion of Paris and Parisiens have changed over the years and continue to do so. They can be seen as being arrogant, snobbish, rude and that exists to an extent but I've also come across some really nice, friendly and helpful people who share the beauty of the city. Especially my trip last week made me appreciate Paris a bit more than usual. I was alone and so I let myself go for a stroll and people watch. It was one of the best experiences. No pressure. No stress. Just slow and go whichever the wind blows.

Your Place or Mine

Does it matter? The real question is WHEN. This was spotted at the H&M on the Champs-Élysées in Paris. Don't ask me why we were at an H&M of all places in Paris. Apparently this shop was designed by some famous guy. Happy Friday everyone. xo

Sacré-Cœur

One of the sketchiest days of my life. I was afraid of getting robbed or beaten up or both. Just so many weirdos around this neighbourhood amongst the beauty and the splendid view. In the end I was almost robbed on the way to the metro but luckily my dear friend and I fought back and escaped in one piece and with only a bruised shoulder. The whole time we kept telling each other 'get me off this island'. That's what it felt like. A completely separate island. Never a dull moment. oh Paris

Tour-Eiffel

I've been to Paris a few times in my life and this one takes the cake. I was traveling with my dear friend from Toronto and we had such an amazing time together. It was just like old times. We attracted some weirdos including a gorilla that opted to ruin my photo. Not this one obviously.

Hotel Louvre

I've been away the last week traveling; partly work, partly leisure. I met up with my dear friend from Toronto in Paris. This was our first night shortly after we met each other. It felt like no time has passed...we picked up where we left off. There is something I really like about puddles and the reflection. I managed to capture this great shot of my dear friend in one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods of Paris outside Hotel Louvre.

A Parisian weekend.

So in love that they had to carve it

What better way to spend an evening than sitting along the Seine river with a bottle of wine in one hand, baguette in the other with your dearest friends.

What a gorgeous sunset!
