A pit stop in the country...

On our road trip through the South of France we made a night pit stop in this beautiful country house in the middle of nowhere (Gattigues). Well to be exact it was 7km north of Uzès. The house was rented by a Swedish woman and her French husband Olivier who together run this bed and breakfast. We woke up to a beautiful breakfast in the garden. Great place to be to chill and relax and start the day right. The hosts were super friendly and not to mention their quirky/weird sense of humour. Loved it! Chanel Academy

We found ourselves at what appeared to be the Chanel Academy. What actually happens inside is anyones guess. One can speculate that this is where the brainwashing happens before you can start to work for Chanel. And that pathway into the garden...doesn't it look very magical? After a few minutes of ooing and ahhing it was time to hit the road and continue on our road trip. As you can tell from the first photo, it was a brutally windy day and it didn't help my allergies one bit.

St. Tropez afternoon...

Here are more pics from my trip to St. Tropez. What a great way to spend the afternoon...going for a stroll and discovering. Despite the wind, it was a great day to be in St. Tropez.

It was unfortunaely a very windy day in St. Tropez but we took in as much as possible. It was a cute little city and I love streets like these in the last photo, especially if they are filled with cute little shops. The people here were much nicer than in Cannes.

Lunch in St. Tropez

If there is one thing I can't live without it's food...(and my camera to photograph food). I absolutely love it. When I was recently in St. Tropez we stopped at this restaurant for lunch and I have to say it was one of the most amazing meals I've ever had. The quality of the presentation to quality of the food was just absolutely amazing.

So some of you may have been wondering where I've been these last few weeks. I must apologize once again for being a horrible blogger. It's been busy times this fall. I've been in France for a week for work and then once I was ready to begin posting again my computer started acting up and yesterday I decided to update my iPhone softward and as a result I lost all my photos from the last three months.
